Chopped the vertical supports to lower car cover so hopefully this new cover will last longer than 6 months. High winds expected again tomorrow. 20250112_145639.jpg20250112_145649.jpg20250112_145925.jpg20250112_145906.jpg20250111_140238.jpg

Most of those celebrities / rich people won't put up with the commies and their permitting process. Of course, the Governor and Mayor aren't taking any blame. Of course, the DEI Black Lesbian Fire Chief and the top 2 Black Lesbians right beside her want to hire more Black Women to be Firefighters, because that has what to do with putting out Fires? If they can do the job, so be it, but they can't no matter what thanks to the Gubment.

I pray for everyone, even the incredibly annoying Leftist celebrities. I can't imagine what they are going through... Adam Corolla explains it perfectly for people there...

I waited until afternoon to start on round3 of living room cleanup. I am happy to report that I cleaned up Mr Bottle Trash. I do need to vacuum the floor but need to find a vacuum that works.

I piled up trash bags in the front room and then asked my brother to haul them out. He actually complied and the pile was so high it was taller than him. He's burning it now. Progress
Z, it seems like you are always throwing out trash and doing major cleanup. At some point, I would think you would run out of stuff to throw away.

Anyway, keep it up until you get all that stuff you don’t need gone. My general rule is, if I come across something that I forgot I had or haven’t used for a while, I will throw it out. Or sell it. This doesn’t apply to tools. I don’t always follow my own rules but at least I can see my floor.

Folks would find it interesting of me, when they'd ask for a tool, and I'd describe exactly where it was in the 2003 cummins I worked out of, and the condition was that they return it too that location.

@zannej I have an idea...... it won't be esthetically please but neither is bottles and garbage everywhere. Why not buy the cheap 30ish gallon garbage cans at Walmart for each bedroom and living room and kitchen and 30 gallon bags, toss things in daily, then remove once full. Tall kitchen cans for bathrooms, hallways..... it should be.mostly lightweight from your pictures, and would make it easier to cleanup

Or at least 1 30gallon for Bro’s bedroom.

This is typical Snow in most years here, but this is Drift Snow that adds up to the standard 4 Ft. Chain Link fence, probably from a total depth of 2 or 3 Ft. The best Years are when it's 4 Ft. by itself without the help of the Wind. I couldn't see my Chain Link in 2018 or 2019.

My Dog was like this one... You gotta shovel a path ending up in a clearing for the bathroom, but he had other ideas and hardly ever followed the path.

I don't see how people live in Areas with that much snow. I guess if that's what you've always known, you don't think anything about it. Also, I work in a career sector that snow is not a legitimate excuse to not come to work. It is pounded into your head that you can leave everything behind for days on end in order to get to work, on your own dollar. They always get you there, getting home is a little shadier of a deal. Of course, all area hospitals use empty beds, in empty areas in order to allow staff to stay on campus. Some area hotels offer discounts, so you literally work potential for free, dependent on what you do at the hospital, in order to go to work.

You just shovel or use the Snow Blower or Plow. The difference with other Snow States is the Negative temps down to -50 plus with wind, in which you don't do anything. I don't know if anybody goes to work then.

The Hospital should pay for everything since they make so much on Sick Care. I don't know about your Hospital, but a lot of them fake test results for profit like fake Cancer for the Chemo that they get paid $$$$$$$ to administer to people that don't need it... I know you have heard my diatribes against Allopath MD's that are basically worthless, but with the massive profit (even claiming non profit), they should pay Nurses top notch salaries with all the exceptions added in since Nurses are rarely at fault for anything.
