Looks like luan, sometimes called luan mahogany.

Flat, hollow core doors like that are usually made of luan as DFB states or birch. The color looks like luan to me. Birch would be more blonde.

Solid core. I'd still say a luan plywood over a solid core. It is a thin veneer/plywood not dimensional lumber.
