Can anyone help identify this light type? It is a fixture in the kitchen area on top of cabinets. About 30 (maybe 36 end to end) inches long. Its in a hard to access space. I cannot pry the sides open. Looks like fluorescent light to me. Is it an integrated fixture, or can I just change the bulb?

Never worked before since purchasing house. Trying to troubleshoot.

It may be spring loaded. Grab bulb and move left to right, and see it this is your replacement way.

You beat me too it.

Generally, the bulb holder away from the cord end is fixed, and the holder/receiver at the cord end can be retracted into the fixture, releasing the bulb.

To my eyes, it looks almost certainly like a LED with integral (not replaceable) lamp.

If what Havasu said about pushing doesn't work, my money is on LED. Note that push-In F-30 and F-36 are unusual outside of T-12 HO bulbs in outdoor signs.

To Confirm:
After unplugging, try to take the cord end cap off. You might have to squeeze the cover a bit. Once that cover is off, you will be able to tell right away if it's LED or Fluorescent. Sometimes the cap clips break, so you might have to glue the cap back on.

If fluorescent, a 30 or 36 bulb will probably cost more than a new LED fixture.

Also, from the photo in post #2, if or when you disconnect, or remove that fixture, which appears to have been a plug in application, you'll want to safe-off the switched power source, by containing the conductors in an appropriate, either surface or immersed within the wall/ceiling cavity, enclosure.
