HMMMM, a strikingly close resemblance to a repurposed thunder-mug, you'll replace for the coming winter excursions?
I wish I could totally smoke 6 bowls of Maui Wowie um I don't know what that means or anything , but then I could go to the clouds like you and like maybe I would totally be surfing the clouds also! The colors would be like the long lookie twistie thing and I would see you there, flying by... Whoa, it's Snoonyb... What's happenin broski? That's totally rad home slice! Then when I totally realized I was still on my couch holding Pizza, that would be cool also man, and I would invent my own language just like you as soon as I totally found the Ranch... Rad!

Can you smell the colors?

I have nothing to contribute to the diet and religion discussion. I do remember squat toilets in Singapore. Sometimes we would see footprints on the seats in public restrooms from when the squat toilets were occupied.
The smell the colors thing made me think of the Skittles "taste the rainbow" ads.

Today I cleaned the cat waterer and changed the filter, took out trash, went to Walmart with my brother to get curbside pickup-- but they didn't give me $40 worth of stuff that I ordered so I had to request a refund. They must have given it to the wrong customer bc it wasn't with my stuff and I didn't realize until I got home. I will have to go back to buy it in person. Unloaded groceries and put stuff away. Cooked for Mom. Changed Mom's insulin cartridge and tubing on her pump. And have been looking online for a "new" truck. The one I was looking at getting is at a dealership with bad ratings and a lot of complaints about their sales guy and his dishonesty. Like tacking on thousands of $ allegedly for mechanics to check vehicles over and make sure everything is good only to find out stuff was broken and the $ was just bloat. There's another truck that has lower mileage, a roof rack, and running boards but the color of the truck and the interior are not what we wanted. Mostly we don't want black interior because it gets way too hot and we don't want dark exterior for the same reason. I'm hoping another silver one with gray interior will pop up for a decent price at a reliable seller. I also need to look up the laws on what the dealership can legally charge. I know in TX $225 is the max for doc fees. Louisiana can charge $425, but I'm planning to buy in TX.

I was sick yesterday. Bad tummy ache until I threw up and was able to belch. I guess something was blocking the gas from coming up. Didn't throw up a lot, just a little bit. Pepto wasn't working. Rupert sitting on my tummy helped a little. Later he sat on my head while I was napping (I'm a side sleeper) and he purred for me. There was a cat fight that I broke up by proxy. Don't know who started it, but Aminatu and Rupert were slapping each other. Biscuits was mad that Rupert slapped his sister so he jumped on Rupert. Yasuke hates Biscuits and saw him fighting so he jumped on him. I pulled Rupert away and Aminatu managed to duck out. Gravy Jones hates Yasuke and almost always defends Biscuits so he jumped on Yasuke. The 3 or them tumbled around in a ball and fell off my bed onto the floor and tumbled around more until Biscuits escaped and ran to me. Fippy was growling and Princess was woofing and snarling. I told Princess to "stop the kitties" so she jumped down snarling. I couldn't see what was going on but did see her hopping up and down a few times while snarling and then Gravy Jones jumped out and Princess chased Yasuke out of the room.
I had to make a run to Walmart to see if I could find the fried rice Walmart charged me for but didn't give me in my curbside order. Turns out they were out of stock but they didn't cancel the item. Got something else for Mom but she didn't like it. Even the dogs didn't like it.
Boo woke me up early this morning by tapping my face and meowing. It was canned-food-o'clock. So I stumbled out and fed him. The sun wasn't even up yet. LOL.

Took Fippy to the vet for an allergy shot, heartworm shot renewal, and claw trimming. He bites if I try to mess with his claws. Got him in his Batman harness- which keeps falling off him now that he's down to 13lbs.

I got him a plain burger from McDonalds to make it up to him. Got mom some food and a coffee as well. I'm about to take a nap though since I didn't sleep well last night.

Wow! You sure a busy person, Zannej! If I had to manage all the stuff you face, I'd lose my mind. (It's half way gone already.)

When next your stomach is upset, perhaps try some peppermint oil. (Study up first to be sure it's not a conflict with system glitches that you have or with medications you take.)

It does wonders for me after I eat the "What the heck is that?" concoctions that I prepare. It's said to help with all manner of glitches, from IBS to headaches.

It does help with sore muscles when rubbed on, but then I have to walk around smelling like Santa's workshop all day.

I buy the little gel caps at Puritan's Pride com & oil in a bottle locally.

As a bonus, the liquid in a dropper stops insect bites from itching and helps with my eczema rashes; although not a miracle cure. A drop in the trash cans keeps the flies and animals out. I guess raccoons don't care for the smell. (Eucalyptus and Tea Tree oil last longer in the trash can.)

I laughed and laughed when I read about your Mom and the dogs not liking the new rice. Thanks for sharing it!
My wife and every dog who's ever adopted us refuse to eat basmati rice. My dog-buddy shows up when I'm working with any food except two: celery and basmati. Me? I like it plain. No salt, no seasonings. (Oh No! Better take a peppermint pill.) Brown rice? My dog pesters me like crazy for some.

Got all the cabinets in

IMG_8833.jpeg

Using cardboard to simulate a countertop.

The countertop template guy is scheduled for Monday.

The plan for the left of the stove…

IMG_8832.jpeg

Is to do something similar to our other kitchen

IMG_8532.jpeg

I have some floating shelves to install on the wall above the counter on the left of the stove. I also have a matching white panel that goes from the ceiling to the bottom of the microwave on the left side.

PJB12- I have peppermint oil but not an edible kind. It's safe for dogs and repels roaches/mice but can be deadly to cats.

Ron, the cabinets are looking great! Will the sink base cabinet have a tip-out drawer?
When I saw the empty space next to the microwave I was thinking it could use another cabinet or shelves. Sounds like shelves will be there so that should look good. I'm interested in seeing how the counter with the space underneath will turn out. I'm also looking forward to seeing whatever countertop will go there. I'm still thinking the space above the window needs something. Maybe something for pots or a drying rack or a shelf of some sort.

Yesterday I got up early to pick up mail from the post office and get the rice Mom actually likes (it was back in stock). Truck kept popping up a message that it was low on wiper fluid. I'd bought some before I took Fippy to the vet but it had been raining a lot. So, I waited until yesterday when I was putting gas in the car (no cigarettes in sight!). I used Seafoam in the tank before fueling up and then poured in the wiper fluid while the automatic filler thing was going. Had some people staring at me when I popped the hood and was fumbling around like a monkey while handling the jug of fluid. Used almost the entire thing.

Then I went to McDonalds to get Mom some coffee and a bacon egg & cheese biscuit (per her request). I'd also gotten some rotisserie chicken from Walmart so I took the meat off the bones to use for cooking later. Once again, McDonalds screwed us over on the chocolate that was supposed to be in Mom's coffee. They forgot to put it in. Will not order it that way again since they charge extra. I'm going to say something to them about it next time.

Been learning more about the truck we are thinking of getting-- features and such. It has multiple angles for the backup camera, which is cool, and has colored guides that curve when wheel is turned for backing up. Also been watching videos about what to say to car dealers and when to walk away and what not to agree to. Already knew quite a bit of it. Apparently some dealers will try to get you to fill out a credit application before test-driving. Always say "no" to that. Some will want to take your driver's license before the test drive. A dealership did that to my mom and then was refusing to give it back unless she agreed to sign something so I had to threaten to call the cops to get it back. So, if they need to look at your license before a test drive, make sure you get it back asap and say you will call the cops if they don't give it back. Some dealerships will try to take the keys to the vehicle you arrived in-- just say no. Saw someone saying a dealer did that to her and then wouldn't give her keys back. And she was not doing a trade-in. Also, another tactic I found they tried on us back when Dad was still alive was to say the vehicle that matched what we wanted was at a different lot (this was back before we had cellphones or online listings of vehicles). In retrospect, we should have said we would follow them in our vehicle. They drove us over and did not actually have anything remotely like what we were looking for and were refusing to drive us back unless we agreed to buy something we didn't want. That was when dad showed his gun and badge and they changed their minds. They will also try to charge you a prep fee or shipping fee for a vehicle-- above what the advertised price was-- but that's a bs fee. Any taxable fee is negotiable apparently. And you should always find out your state's maximum for doc fees. Just say no to extended warranties. From my experience, they refuse to honor them. And if you are financing and they want to bundle warranty stuff and say they can't get you a lower APR unless you bundle, that is a lie and is illegal. I'm trying to think of other things. But if they offer a price and then go "talk to the manager" and then come back and say they have to go at a higher price, they are lying.

I'd submitted a request for info on one of the car sites so I've been having my e-mail bombarded with requests for my phone number. I will not give out my number and replied that I will correspond via e-mail only.

Did I mention that the clerk at the vet's office said she had texted me reminders about Fippy's shots and I asked her what phone number she texted. I then said "That's a landline" and she said she would make a notation in their records. I forgot to give her my cell. I'm ok with the vet having my cell number but I *hate* phonecalls.

I'm currently sitting here with Rupert on me again and am about to get something to eat.

I have heard of bait and switch at car dealers, haven't heard anything else you mention. I would hold a sign in front of the dealership saying they are scumbags and to avoid them. I would film the dealership and post it.

For my next vehicle, probably a Truck, I will buy online and fly somewhere or carpool to get it... Everything will be handled before I leave.

At a Ford dealer in Southern MT compared to a Ford dealer in Kansas... (Ebay)

2024 F250... Both look the same, very limited stats on each... Would of course do the DD first... Kansas offers free shipping. Prices before fees...

Kansas price... $53K

Montana price... $82K

"Explain the price difference, smart guy", you say... Mountains... They don't exist in Kansas... Ford probably makes the dealership take a few Trucks every year and they Fire sale them and write it off... I mean, you *can* drive a 4x4 on flat land, but with nowhere to really play with it, people there prefer cars, probably opting for Mustangs before they even think about a Truck... The Hills in Kansas are not enough of a draw to buy a Truck, I wouldn't think... I haven't been there, but nobody has offered to pay me!

Those boys have probably never even seen Mountains unless it was a Documentary about Glacier National Park or something...

"Mama, thoses Mountains look cool with the Water falling! Can we go see the Mount"... "No Junior, what is this Devil talk coming out your mouth? You know the Earth is flat! Thoses Alien created, they don't exist! You just be happy with the flat land that the good Lord gave us and your poppy tills! Lord, what would your memaw say if she heard you talking about Alien creations like that!"

Read the link... Guess what State this is! The land of the Cuckoo Birds!

So, they will create more waste in everything it takes to produce the cups and the return bins, in an effort to reduce waste... Then there is the trust part, whether people opting to get a reusable cup believe the 16 year old in the back paid attention and sanitized the cups properly...

Why don't they have reusable food while they are at it? Every hour or so, and employee goes through the trash and pulls out all the food to be served as reusable? It actually doesn't sound so whack if it happens in this State!

If you eat at most sit down restaurants you are using reusable cups and dishes, what's the difference? I remember when I was a kid there were no disposable bottles, they all went back for sanitation and refilling. We used to search for them to get the deposit and buy penny candy or baseball cards. They were hard to find, now there are trash bottles and cans along every roadside. Not sure "one way" bottles, as they used to be called, are really progress. What's old is now new.

Well, they aren't glass or ceramic, that's the difference... If they are Paper like normal Coffee cups or Plastic, both can harbor bacteria or viruses much like a cutting board, and I don't know what they mean by "sanitize", not to mention my example of the average 16 year old caring more about watching Tik Toc than doing their jobs.

1 of my several occupations, as an adolescent, was as a sorter of returns for a PEPSI DIST. We'd sort by brands as well as empty all sorts of smoking debris from the bottle, prior to them being trucked to a bottler, and refilled.
