Hello all, the first project I need to tackle on my list is to address a dangerous piece of metal trim that's sticking up near the front entrance. This trim separates a tiled area and the hardwood flooring beyond. One of the pieces of trim seems to have lifted in the corner, creating a very sharp kicking hazard. We've been lucky so far and have just ruined a couple of socks, but it's just a matter of time until someone kicks it just right to cut their foot/toe open.
I'm not really sure how to get this corner back down and keep it down in a way that will look clean and neat. Any suggestions? I've attached photos from 2 angles to show the lifted tip.
